I. Pre-installation Preparatory Work
1. Inspect the Quality of the Linear Guide Rail: Before installing the linear guide, it is necessary to inspect the quality of the guide carefully. Ensure that the guide surface is free from damage and rust and that the fit between the slider and the guide is good.?

2. Clean the Installation Surface: The installation surface of the precise linear rail sets must be kept clean. Wipe the installation surface clean with kerosene or cleaning oil, and then dry it with lint-free paper to ensure that the installation surface is clean and dust-free.

3. Prepare Installation Tools: Installing linear guides requires the use of some special tools, such as wrenches, screwdrivers, calipers, torque wrenches, etc.

II. Installation Steps
1. Place the Linear Motion Guide: Gently place the linear guide on the installation surface, ensuring that the guide is parallel to the installation surface. Use a caliper or ruler to check the parallelism between the guide and the installation surface to ensure installation accuracy.

2. Fix the Linear Guide: Use screws to preliminarily fix the linear guide on the installation surface, but do not fully tighten them. At this time, ensure that the guide is in light contact with the installation surface to avoid deformation of the guide due to over-tightening.

3. Assemble the Side Pressure Plate: If required by the design, install the side pressure plate, and also do not fully tighten it. The side pressure plate helps to increase the stability of the guide.

4. Tighten the Screws in Sequence: Adjust the torque value of the torque wrench as required, and tighten the screws in sequence. Usually, start from the center position and then gradually tighten towards both ends to ensure that the guide is evenly stressed. First, tighten the screws of the side pressure plate to ensure they are locked.

5. Install Other Linear Guides: If the equipment requires multiple linear guides, install the other guides in the same way, ensuring the installation accuracy and stability of each guide.

6. Adjust the Parallelism and Straightness of the Guides: Use a marble straightedge or other measuring tools to check the parallelism and straightness of the guide. Adjust the height and position of the guide by adjusting the tightness of the screws to meet the design requirements.

7. Install the Slider: Install the slider on the linear guide, ensuring that the slider can slide smoothly. Pay attention to the direction of the slider to ensure that it is consistent with the movement direction of the guide.

8. Install the Hole Cover: Drive the hole cover into the assembly bolt hole until it is flush with the top surface of the linear guide. The hole cover helps to prevent dust and debris from entering the interior of the guide.
